Volunteers livingcondition is something that volunteers might need to check up before going away as a volunteer.

Things that can be nice to have looked up is how do you gona live.
Like: in a House, room, hut, shared with other volunteers etc.

Depending on how your living conditions is you might not have access to power / electrical outlets etc.
(So no hair dryer at some places  ) Also no electrical shaving tools as well.
And if you take it with you to places that you know have electricity it is not sertain its the same voltages etc (remeber to bring a travel adapter)

Also the water supply might not be that good that you might have tought before you left home.
But if you already know try to take a shower before heading out from a mayor city etc if your going to a small village etc. (Even if you feel clean)
Because it can be the last real good shower for some time.

What else about the volunteers living conditions? yee sleep, depending on if you are sleeping alone or in a group it might be vise to take something
with you like a Sleep Eye Mask or so. Or something for the ears.

Also there is the security questions, in a shared room/hut/bungalow etc you cant leave things in the same way as when you have your own room.
(But never leave something expensive etc anyway)

Well thats it for now..

Also you could or should always bring bottled water because some water resources have alot of parasites in it and another
kind of "culture" that your immunsystem is not used to.

And if you cant bring water with you, atleast try to boil the water that you drink.

All good points! I thought I would add, though, that water purification tablets are also a handy little extra to put in your bag, depending on where you're going. :)
