I will be grateful if somebody can advice me which volunteer company can be trusted. I would like to try myself as a volunteer to get some experience. Actually, I am from Belarus, but for the last 5 years have studied and lived in Turkey. So, I've just graduated from English Language and Literature Department. I can teach English, Turkish or Russian. Furthermore, I am interested in dancing very much and do have experience as a dance instructor. Hoping that I might be useful, thank you in advance...

Hi Vlada,

Have a look at this website: www.realexperiencethailand.com
I'm an intern there at the moment and they are very trustworthy.

Kind regards,
Sandra

Thank you very much for the replies!
Sandra, I did really like the projects described (I love animals, and have experience in working with children), yet my main concern is the material side of the matter. Participation fee is something I cannot afford at the moment.
Michael, I consider going anywhere, for my chief goal is to contribute and learn something. However, as I stated above, I do not have much to spend, so if you still see my candidature suitable I will be glad to receive detailed information. My email : vlada.tcherkachina@gmail.com. Kindest regards

Location: Chiang Mai Thailand
Volunteer Experience: The Metta Experiment was developed to be a place where students from Chiang Mai University and people from all over the world could learn and practice these things together in a nonacademic setting. From a Buddhist point of view, bringing about outward change is only the beginning ecological awareness is an opening of the heart to all life, and a warm appreciation of the natural beauty we see around us. Through this project, workshops and other events, we hope to find within ourselves the strength and inspiration to bring about change in the world.
Account Type: Organization
I would avoid companies as most of them charge a lot of money just to use their service. What kind of work are you looking for? And what country are you looking to volunteer in?

take a lookat our volunteer opps, we are not a huge volunteer company but can offer amore personal volunteer experience and a real view of what is happening. www.animalrescuekos.co.uk is one of our volunteer holiday ops.

this is what i have been posting on this site as we desperately need volunteers for our organisations throughout the greek islands!

Volunteer on any greek island or go island hopping with us!

Volunteers are required for our charities on greek islands 12 months of the year, accomodation and main meals included plus airport transfers and transport for those who can drive.

You will be working mainly in animal rescue of domestic animals, tortoises, wild rabbits, turtles, horses & we also have some diving volunteer ops!

Living in traditional style accomodation, all solar powered and luxury compared to cheap package holiday venues!

Choose Your Island, Chose Your Holiday, Choose The cost!

ALSO!
Next summer we are looking for a group of 30 people to join us in our campaign to raise money and awareness of animal welfare in Greece, you will join in with a wag a thon in athens walking 5k with a dog of your choice who you will then re home in europe! WE WILL BE ISLAND HOPPING ALL THE WAY TO ATHENS FUNDRAISING! THIS WILL BE THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME & WILL BE HAPPENING SPETEMBER 2011. BOOK YOUR PLACE NOW! ACCOMODATION PROVIDED!

(please note: prices atart from £100 per person per week with various accomodations available at a cost, you can style your package to suit your budget. flights are not included and money paid goes direct tothe charity and its holiday organisers to provide you with a brilliant experience and also so that they can make the most of your help. These are not beach holidays although walking dogs and riding horses on the beach will most probably be included in the packages!)

Contact Volunteer-In-Greece Now: 0800 689 9062 or Director Of Volunteering: katie@animalrescuekos.co.uk

THIS POST WILL NEVER GO OUT OF DATE! WE NEVER RUN OUT OF PLACES! AND HAVE JOBS FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING TEACHERS, VETS, EVENT ORGANISERS, LAW STUDENTS, SCIENTISTS... THE LIST GOES ON!
