Are you an individual, family or group planning on a volunteer travel, holiday or adventure abroad in Africa, then HB Volunteer Uganda is the answer,
We offer opportunities in programs such as;

Education Program:
There are many primary & Secondary schools in Uganda that educate, house and feed needy children and orphans. You can teach primary classes, including academic subjects and life skills, and organize sport and art activities for the children. You are the outside world to these kids. Schools have a basic curriculum, but you’ll be planning your own lessons daily. Know that traditional education in Uganda is based on memorization and passing exams. While there is a language barrier, by volunteering you can introduce creative writing, drawing, debate, and life skills into the classroom.

Community Empowerment Program:
This is a hands dirty type of program. Under this program, you can take part in construction and building projects in the rural/urban communities, working along side with unskilled youth/local people. Working on projects like ,construction of schools,orphanages, farming, volunteer centers, borehole building and also renovation work. You do not require experience it's just the enthusiasm of helping others.

Youth work & Mentoring:
If you’re into something a little less structured that includes camping out and mentoring youth around the campfire, perhaps you’d like to work with a youth group. We have projects that promote the voluntary spirit in Uganda. You would work alongside Ugandan volunteers (youth aged 17 – 27) in programs directly benefiting local communities all over Uganda.

Expect to take part in an ever changing schedule made up of public speaking and mentoring youth and youth leaders fighting against HIV/AIDS,AIDS care, counseling, public health/hygiene,condom use/distribution, and creativity workshops promoting small business generation, the importance of basic education, women’s rights and empowerment. Bring camping gear to get the most of this program.

Health Care Program:
HB Volunteer Uganda, also partners with local Health Clinics and local community projects lacking adequate health services and health awareness. Our health program areas include family planning, HIV/AIDS,sexual & reproductive health, and community health (alleviation of malaria,HIV/AIDs and other diseases) we the aim to build the aptitude of these communities to improve sanitation and hygiene and promoting health education among the local people.

Child Care Program:
In Uganda , there are thousands of children who are orphaned or neglected, and need love, care and attention.Care placements are ways to volunteer together as a family.Spend sometime working in an orphanage or care home, and be a hero to a child's life. By Working with children in orphanages, you would be helping the kids to learn life-skills,engaging them in activities such as sports & games or Music & arts. You'll likely get involved in the day to day running of an orphanage by feeding, washing and dressing the children.

And many other programs can be found at http://hbvolunteeruganda.yolasite.com/our-programs.php
Let us know and we’ll figure out a good placement for your skills and interests.

The cost to volunteer with HB Volunteer Uganda for a week is US $ 112 and for a month is US $450 for Accommodation and Food (Paid before or Upon Arrival) . US $100 for Pickup to and from the Airport (Paid before departure)

Time Commitment:
