Volunteer Aid Nepal (VAID NEPAL) is a non-government, non-political, non-profit development organization working under the principle of “Development through Volunteering”. It was established by a group of graduate students as an action for community development and empowerment under the Nepalese Organization Act of 1977 AD. It focuses its activities on the progress of disadvantaged, marginalized, and poorly educated people, and plays the role of facilitator for sustainable development by utilizing local resources.
We run various volunteer programs and community aid projects to support the work of local communities in Nepal. Local communities are in the best position to identify their own needs; we provide International Volunteers and assistance to achieve their goals and ambitions. Our volunteer programs are open to everyone willing to make a difference in the lives of others.
