Are you looking for an interesting internship in Peru? We are looking for a trainee to do an internship as a volunteer coordinator for Proyecto Peru.
Proyecto Peru Centre is a Spanish language school and volunteer organization. We are a local organization which operates from Cusco. We organize Spanish classes at our language school and we organize and mediate in internships and volunteer work in non-profit projects in and around Cusco.
As a volunteer coordinator you are responsible for the contacts with social projects in Cusco and organize the placement and supervision of volunteers on the various projects. You work from our office in Cusco. Your tasks will include the following:
- Maintaining contacts with social projects in Cusco
- Keeping project descriptions and job descriptions up-to-date
- Communication with the volunteers before they arrive in Cusco
- Welcome the volunteers in Cusco
- Introduce the volunteers to their projects and follow-up
- Organizing activities with the volunteers
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and social person who wants to strengthen our team. You need to be able to organize and communicate well and you should like living in a different culture. Your Spanish level must be at least intermediate (preferably advanced), English at an intermediate level and preferably a third language. We are looking for someone with a study in tourism, facility management, international business or a related study. We offer you a fun and varied role in a nice, young and international team.
