We are searching for motivated and hard working volunteers who like travelling and living together with people from different cultures. We are searching for volunteers who want to create positive change in the world.
A "Development Instructor" is an international volunteer.
The program is 24 months long and takes place in Denmark and Africa.
- 12 months of voluntary social work in schools for troubled children and youth in Denmark. This period also contains studies, training practical skills, learning languages and preparations for Africa.
- 8 months of voluntary work in a "Humana People to People" development project in southern Africa, working with projects such as Child Aid, HIV/AIDS prevention, tree planting and environmental projects, teaching teachers for the rural Africa, pre school programs and Farmers Clubs.
- 4 months Camp Future, consisting of giving presentations in Denmark, continous work with troubled youth in Denmark, and taking an exam in pedogogy and "Fighting with the Poor".
Team start: 1st of February and 1st of August
Demands: Hold an EU passport, minimum 12 years of schooling, and pay an enrolment fee.
Economy: No expenses for food, accommodation and program - you pay through your voluntary work.
You will be employed as a volunteer in Denmark and in Africa, and your work will cover all expenses, including the travel to Africa. Fundraising is also part of the program.
